How A Car Turn Signal Works

The use of turn signals is an effective way of communicating with other drivers about your change in direction. Turn signals, also known as flashers, blinkers or direction-indicator lamps, are commonly mounted near the left and right front and rear corners of the car. Turn signals were used as early as 1907.
